So long, Miss Snark, and thanks for all the clues!

A great light has winked out in the blogosphere. Miss Snark has taken down her shingle. Her stomping ground will become a museum, a library, a place to thumb over countless pages of her wit and wisdom, but no longer to glimpse even so much as her shadow flitting around the corner, with Killer Yapp yipping at her red stiletto heels.

I am greatly saddened. There will never be anyone like her, ever. She's pithy, funny, smart, and underneath the snarky coat of mail beats the heart of a real mensch.

I close with a link to one of my favorite posts, the one where we discover that not only is Miss Snark pithy, snarky (though in this case, perhaps not so smart), and a savvy (and sometimes savage) agent, but a writer as well! A funny writer! I give you--

Le car and the Gallic grease monkeys

Good-bye, Miss Snark. We loved you well.

That IS a great one, Beth. I joined the Snarklings too late to catch it on the first run.
